Karius signs for £4.7m
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool yesterday completed the signing of 22-year-old goalkeeper Loris Karius from Bundesliga club Mainz.The young German stopper is expected to provide Simon Mignolet with much needed competition for the number one jersey at Anfield.Signed for £4.7m, Loris Karius has been the undisputable number one at Mainz since breaking into the first team as a 20-year-old in 2013.
