Roma vs Torino

AS Roma somehow managed to survive Cagliari test on Saturday, but it has been anything but an impressive performance from Giallorossi who only managed to break the deadlock in the fourth minute of added time when defender Facundo Fazio bagged the much-important winner.
The Romans are now to face a tougher challenge in mid-week when they are to tackle Torino in the last 16 round of Coppa Italia at their Stadio Olimpico. The visitors will thus continue the series of super tough matches as they will travel to the capital after previously facing the likes of Milan, Atalanta, Lazio and Napoli in Serie A.

The team led by Sinisa Mihajlovic did manage to claim a reasonable amount of points from these matches, but they could not do much to stay competitive against Napoli on Saturday (1-3 loss in Turin). Nonetheless, the Serbian manager has reason for optimism ahead of the clash with Roma as his men managed a quite impressive 1-3 win away at Lazio just ten days ago.

Since the hosts have been struggling a lot with the efficiency in the final third (connected to the drop in Edin Dzeko’s form), we believe Torino could make an upset here and advance past the favourites.
