FC Barcelona have finished their transfer business

Twenty-two players will fight for the next few months to win the league, cup and Champions League with Barcelona, the Catalans announcing that their transfer business is over for another window
Unless an offer in the region of 12 million euros comes in for Aleix Vidal, the status quo will remain as it is currently. Ernesto Valverde is looking to achieve what would be the third treble in Barcelona’s history, and the good news is that there will be more players involved, and the door of the first team will be left open for the likes of Alena, Arnaiz, Cucurella and Co.

It has been the most intense winter transfer market for the club in the last decade. The first to arrive was Philippe Coutinho, in exchange for 120 million euros plus 40 in variables, and then came Yerry Mina who precipitated Javier Mascherano’s departure. Hebei Fortune deposited 10m euros in club coffers for the Argentinian’s signature.

This Monday, Gerard Deulofeu was confirmed as a Watford player and he follows Arda Turan out of the exit door, the Turkish international loaned to Basaksehir. Rafinha is also on loan at Inter with a purchase price of 35m euros writtern into the deal.

Barcelona took advantage of the window to renew Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto, two very important players in the future of the team. Antoine Griezmann, who would cost 100m euros next summer, and Arthur, who would sign in 2019 to allow Rakitic and Busquets to rest, are two more players that are on the club’s radar.
