Manchester United star David de Gea has dropped a big hint that he will stay at Old Trafford this summer.
The Spain international has been repeatedly linked with a move to Real Madrid, and famously almost made the switch to the Bernabeu in 2015 only to be thwarted by a faulty fax machine.
The rumours have continued amid reports Zinedine Zidane will be handed a bumper transfer budget this summer, with a new goalkeeper his priority.
However, De Gea has dropped a hint that he will stay at Manchester United because of the ‘affection and respect’ he feels from supporters.
“In the end in England I have a great affection and respect that I do not notice so much here,” De Gea said.“But every time I come to the national team I feel fondness inside and it is the most important thing.
