Arsenal Bernd Leno made a string of truly phenomenal saves. He denied Wolves on two clear-cut one-on-ones, once from Helder Costa, coming out of his goal to cut off the angle and then bravely collect the loose ball, taking a hit for his troubles, and another from Adama Traore in the dying stages, made other saves from Costa again, and showed good distribution and command of his area.
The starting role to open the year was Petr Cech’s. But after a hamstring injury kept him out in October, Leno has since seized his opportunity to start, not giving up the number one jersey in the Premier League since.
