10 Arsenal Transfer Summer Targets 2019 [VIDEO]

Arsenal is really pushing for a Champions League spot. If possible, they might even go for the podium finish, below Liverpool and Manchester City of course. Because let’s face it – those two are definitely destined for the title and runner-up positions.

The problem for the Gunners is that Manchester United and Chelsea are in close pursuit for this same spot. And point differences of Unai Emery’s men with these sides are two and three points respectively. All it would take to push their season into panic is a single loss.

Arsenal signed off for the international break by getting back to winning ways. They beat Manchester United 2-0 in the Premier League – Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring in a 2-0 win – before they overturned their 3-1 Europa League last-16 deficit against Rennes in the second leg. Having lost in France three days before their win against United, Arsenal roared back in the second leg – Aubameyang scored twice and Ainsley Maitland-Niles netted in between as the Gunners claimed a 4-3 aggregate win.
