AC Milan suffered a 2-1 defeat at champions Juventus in their previous Serie A fixture. Despite taking a first half lead through Krzysztof Piatek, they were unable to hold on and conceded twice after the break.
The Rossoneri currently occupy the final UEFA Champions League place, although they are level on 52 points with Atalanta in fifth and just three above Lazio in seventh. Piatek has 21 Serie A goals this season, including eight in his last 10 matches for AC Milan. The Polish striker also scored for Genoa against Lazio earlier in the season and will be confident of improving on his tally on Saturday.
