Bolivia was unlucky to start against tournament hosts as well as overwhelming favorites Brazil.

While the Bolivians did try to swing the game to their favor and succeeded a little bit in that regards, the abundance of talent and experience on the other side was just too much to handle.

Philippe Coutinho, after a low-key club season with Barcelona, exploded to a new life in international colors. In the absence of talisman Neymar Jr, the winger led the attack of the home team and contributed the first two goals. Later, as a formality, a third was added to the tally to complete the 3-0 scoreline.
