Sheffield United vs Liverpool Match Preview

Sheffield United aim for a back-to-back Merseyside double in the Premier League by ending Liverpool’s 100% start to the season – but Saturday’s hosts are expected to fall short.

It has been an excellent start straight after promotion for Chris Wilder’s side, but the only worry is that their away form is better than their home results and they suffered a third Bramall Lane defeat this term against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup this week.

Liverpool advanced in that competition and, of course, they have won five out of five in the league – their five-point advantage is the biggest ever at this stage and they can, of course, make it eight by prevailing in south Yorkshire before their rivals play later on.
