Manchester United are ready to make a move for a major Liverpool target

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly stepped up his interest in signing German international hitman Timo Werner, may may be forced to wait until the summer.

RB Leipzig frontman Werner has become one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards and Solskjaer is keen to strengthen his forward line after allowing Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez join Inter Milan over the summer.

Werner, 23, has been with Leipzig for the past three seasons, scoring an impressive 68 times in 124 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool have an opening for an attacking midfielder and kai havertz seems to be in the running, especially after he admitted that he is interested in a move away.
