The Red Devils recovered from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 thanks to goals from Brandon Williams, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford gave them a 3-2 lead. Manchester United’s problems were laid bare against Sheffield United – and even showing the spirit of yesteryear couldn’t save them.
Mason Greenwood, 18, turned the ball in following Marcus Rashford’s cross in the 77th minute and Man United completed the comeback two minutes later.
