Barcelona, in front of over 86,000 fans, put in a limp performance – with Real keeper Thibaut Courtois only making one save all afternoon.

As expected, Barça started the game playing the possession game, with Real Madrid always ready to pounce on the counter, but it took some time for any of that to produce much in the way of real drama.
