5 Things… Messi earns record La Liga win [VIDEO]

Leo Messi is the best player in the world. Technically perfect, he brings together unselfishness, pace, composure and goals to make him number one. Lionel Messi now holds the record for most La Liga wins, overtaking Iker Casillas’ 334. Barcelona has an eleven-point lead at the top of the league table, and with just 21 points left to play for, the La Liga is theirs to lose now. The team is also in the final of the Copa del Rey against Valencia and needs to take on a United, who have found their groove under new gaffer.

As these two take on each other, the rich history shared between the sides needs to be taken into consideration. Twice in the last decade, Barcelona was the last obstacle to overcome for Manchester in their quest for European glory, and both times, the English side fell.
