BARCELONA COME BACK IN FOR PREM MIDFIELD TARGET
Barcelona are expected to make a fresh move to sign Liverpool and Manchester United target Jean-Michael Seri this summer.
The Catalan giants were close to signing the Ivorian last summer until a late change of heart saw them push through a deal for Paulinho instead.
Seri has since come under the watchful eye of Liverpool and Manchester United, who are both reportedly keen to to meet the midfielder’s £35million release clause this summer.
However, the Daily Express, via reports in Spain, claim Barcelona are keen to find someone who can ease the workload on Sergio Busquets and they believe Seri would be the ideal signing.
But interest from the Premier League giants means there could be quite the scramble for the midfield’s signature this summer.
Reports have suggested United’s interest in Seri may have gone cold with Mourinho instead looking to prioritise a deal for Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic instead – meaning a straight battle between Liverpool and Barcelona for the all-action Ivorian.
