The Championship side Bristol City stand a tall order in the League Cup second leg after falling 2-1 down to Premier League leaders Manchester City at the Etihad 10 days ago.
Manchester City got back to winning ways on Saturday at the expense of struggling Newcastle United. Sergio Aguero bagged a hat-trick in the 3-1 rout at Etihad leaving behind his disappointing outing in his team’s 3-4 loss at Anfield a week ago. The win helped the Citizens stay 12 points clear-off cross city rivals Manchester United in the Premier League title hunt.
