Homeland Security Introduces Major New Rule in Portland – Antifa Outraged

One of the oldest and most predictable tricks in the left-wing agitator playbook during their so-called “peaceful protests” is hiding behind masks — literally. Whether it’s a bandana pulled up over the face, a scarf wrapped ski mask–style, or some cartoonish character mask that hides everything but their eyes, the goal is always the same: commit chaos, then disappear into the crowd.

More recently in Portland, though, the professional agitators have stepped up their game — or rather, their disguise. The nightly mob outside the city’s ICE facility has started showing up in full-blown costumes, using elaborate getups to confuse and distract federal law enforcement. It’s not protest; it’s performance art for anarchists.

We saw the same thing during the so-called “No Kings” protests in mid-October — masked radicals dressed like comic book villains, pretending it’s theater while they block roads and provoke police:

To crack down on this circus, authorities have decided enough is enough. New rules originally set to take effect in January are now being enforced immediately outside the ICE facility — rules that specifically target the mask-wearing antics of these so-called protesters:

DHS agents at the ICE facility in Portland notified protesters that a new policy regarding concealing identities behind facial coverings has gone into effect, starting today.

Wearing a mask on and/or near federal property is now prohibited, allowing federal agents to apprehend subjects on suspicion laws may be violated.

All persons are prohibited from engaging in the following conduct, on federal property or in areas outside federal property, that affects, threatens, or endangers federal property or persons on the federal property —

(a) Disorderly conduct, which includes, but is not limited to, assaulting, fighting, harassing, intimidating, threatening or other violent behavior, lewd acts, or the inappropriate disposal of feces, urine, and other bodily fluids.

(b) Wearing a mask, hood, disguise, or device that conceals the identity of the wearer when attempting to avoid detection or identification while violating any federal, state, or local law, ordinance, or regulation.

(c) Creating a loud or unusual noise, noxious odor, or other nuisance.

According to investigative reporter Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial — who also spoke at President Donald Trump’s Antifa roundtable earlier this month — the new anti-mask policy is nothing short of a “game changer.” She said it levels the playing field in the ongoing battle between leftist militants, their Democrat and media enablers, and the Trump administration’s effort to restore law and order:

In its announcement, the Department of Homeland Security made clear that the “accelerated effective date” of the new mask policy wasn’t arbitrary. It was prompted by what DHS called a sharp and alarming rise in violence targeting federal immigration officers and detention facilities.

In other words, the rule was fast-tracked because left-wing agitators have escalated their attacks — and the Trump administration is done letting them hide behind masks while assaulting law enforcement and vandalizing federal property.

This policy is long overdue. No doubt the Antifa thugs won’t care for it.
