It has been a long week of speculation regarding Manchester United’s new manager, but on Friday morning it was confirmed by the Premier League giants that Jose Mourinho would replace Louis van Gaal.The Dutchman was sacked on Monday evening, just a couple of days after Manchester United won the FA Cup.
Mourinho has been linked with Manchester United ever since he left Chelsea in December and the signing of The Special One feels like a real coup.
The Special One arrives
José Mourinho’s first match in charge of Manchester United will be against Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on Friday 22nd July.

José Mourinho’s contract is for three-year’s with an option to stay at the club until at least 2020.
