Lionel Messi has named the four players who could give him a run for his money and win this year’s Ballon d’Or trophy.
The Barcelona forward has won the award a sensational five times – the same amount as his rival, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.The duo have pretty much taken it in turns winning the trophy since 2008, after Brazilian legend Kaka clinched the crown in 2007.
