Liverpool Jordan Henderson goal vs Southampton [VIDEO]

Sadio Mane, one of the former Saints in the Reds side, might not have scored in the PL for the first time in a while on Sunday, but that shouldn’t make him any less of a threat.  The Senegalese has been scoring for fun of late and will look to notch his first goal against his former side.  Andy Robertson is the other man to watch.  With a young full back across from him, look for the Scot to maraud down the left all evening long, looking to give the Reds the depth and quality they need to pry open the Saints’ back line.  His assist to Firmino on Sunday showed just what he is capable of when he’s on song.

86’Goal! Roberto Firmino displays great vision and sends a pass to Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), who shows brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball into the back of the net. The score is 1:3.

Jurgen Klopp has both center midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and center back Joe Gomez nearing returns, but each of them look like they will be eased back in rather than rushed back, particularly with the former.  Center back Virgil van Dijk is said to have a slight knock, but don’t expect for him to miss out here, unless it’s an absolute dire emergency, as his side face his old team.

It will be a serious challenge for Liverpool as they go up against an in-form opposition. The Saints head into the clash high on confidence after winning two on the spin in the league. They stunned Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at home before beating Brighton & Hove Albion 0-1 away at The AMEX after the international break last weekend.
