Tottenham Hotspur have only reached the final four stage of Europe’s major continental tournament on one occasion before now. Unfortunately for boss Mauricio Pochettino though, his squad is stretched thin with players like Harry Winks, Harry Kane and now even Jan Vertonghen on the injury table.
Before this second leg, they also have the pressing matter of confirming a top four spot which they will manage if they secure three points in the trip to Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime.
After a disappointing performance in the first-leg in front of their own supporters though, the Argentinian manager will be slightly worried, particularly after league defeats against the likes of West Ham and Manchester City also in the last few weeks.
