Marseille dropped a clanger by failing to omit Patrice Evra from their official team photo – just days after he was sacked for kicking a fan.The Ligue 1 club took to Twitter to share the image of the players along with the caption: “And here it is! Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has revealed how he only moved to Manchester United because Sir Alex Ferguson failed to lure Karim Benzema.Owen joined United in 2009, signing on a free transfer after his contract at Newcastle expired.The Spanish giants spent big money during the summer following Florentino Perez’s return to the presidency, also signing Kaka.They would also splash out to take Benzema from Lyon to Madrid, thus scuppering Ferguson’s hopes of landing the French striker.
