Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said that while Steven Gerrard is in good shape, he certainly won’t be playing for Liverpool during their League Cup quarter final tie with Southampton on Wednesday night.The former Anfield skipper has returned to Merseyside in a bid to stay in shape for the resumption of the new MLS season in January with current club LA Galaxy.Whilst it is certain that the Liverpool legend won’t be returning in a playing capacity for the Reds, Klopp has been extremely happy to have the former England captain training with the rest of his squad.
