It was the eighth consecutive victory for Pep Guardiola’s machinery who are looking to secure the top spot in Group E with a victory over Lyon on Tuesday night at Groupama Stadium.The hosts were far less impressive in their respective ties against Hoffenheim and Shakhtar Donetsk.Lyon had an extra and a two-goal cushion on the occasion, but Nagelsmann’s men managed to get back on level terms and snatch a highly-important point which left them three points shy of Lyon ahead of final two games of the campaign.
