Manchester United got their 2019-20 Premier League campaign off to a perfect start as Marcus Rashford’s brace helped Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to a stunning victory over Frank Lampard’s shell-shocked Chelsea side.

The Red Devils took the lead, against the run of play, in the first half when Rashford converted from the spot after the striker was fouled by Kurt Zouma, who endured a tough afternoon at Old Trafford.
Chelsea hit the woodwork twice but rarely tested David de Gea once they fell behind, and the hosts doubled their lead in the second half when Anthony Martial got on the end of Andreas Pereira’s cross to poke home past Kepa Arrizabalaga.
