Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal will be looking to extend their winning run at home to 11 games when they host Crystal Palace at their Emirates Stadium on Matchday 35. The Gunners have been producing fine performances under Unai Emery and they are still in the race for a place in the Champions League. Unai Emery’s troops are fighting hard to secure a top-four finish and we predict that they are going to stick to their attacking style of play against Palace.

Arsenal are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. The Eagles failed to impress in a 3-1 loss to Man City and seeing that they have little to play for in the season finale, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. In their last meeting at Emirates Stadium Arsenal defeated Palace 4-1.

Arsenal moved back into fourth place ahead of Chelsea with their win over Watford last weekend and with just two points separating the Manchester United, Chelsea and themselves for the last Champions League spot, there is little margin for error from now until the end of the season.  Form Labs return with their betting preview and tips for the game and don’t forget to head over to our FanBoosts section and see where the value lies for the weekend of football.

Arsenal only have two home games left and with their away form shoddy at best in recent times, they really need to make this one count as they bid to return to the Champions League next season. They have however won 10 league games on the bounce at the Emirates as they netted 27 times to their opponents’ combined tally of six, while they led at the break in seven of the last eight as most teams have been easily dismissed.

Palace are frustratingly inconsistent and keep alternating between wins and losses at present, but while they’re capable of the odd result against the ‘Big Six’, they’re actually a dismal W2-D3-L18 versus such teams since the start of last season in league action alone. The Eagles don’t often fail to find the net however, doing so in al l but one of their 14 fixtures versus anybody in 2019 so far, while they’ve even put three past both City and Liverpool this season as they beat the former 3-2 at the Etihad and went down 4-3 at Anfield.
